Tips for Fill In Blanks
- Read the first and last sentence of the passage to get information about the topic and guess related vocabulary.
- Focus on the words before and after a missing word.
- Check if the missing word is in the position of a verb, preposition, adjective, or adverb, etc.
- Watch for the tenses if the passage is in the past, present, or future tense. Based on that convert the verb into respective tense.
- Many words are repetitive and sometimes, they are in the blanks also. try to find the matching prefix in the passage and you will get the word.
